Just before you set out, double check that you have taken all travel documents for each member of your party. Keep them in one folder or holdall, and be wary of it. If it is a long distance travel, better have adequate travel insurance.
If you belong to EU country, and are travelling within Europe, you need to carry a European Health Insurance Card. As you never know when you have to use your credit, or debit cards abroad, enquire about the additional charges which may be levied. If charges do apply, then shop for a card that will not require charges on overseas usage. Likewise make all necessary information about mobile usage before you start your travel.
